School Council

The goal of Howenstine High Magnet School’s school council is to have its members working together in the decision making procedure that are in the best interest of our student’s scholastic achievement and personal growth in an environment of academic excellence and community service.  The site council will act as the official forum through which parents, guardians and students can express their opinions, give and receive communication to the school administrators, teachers, and local community.  It will assist to create and maintain an environment which is conductive to improving student learning and school effectiveness.  The site council will also provide support for school, family and community partnerships that assist parents and their children in the education process.  Members are chosen at the beginning of every school year and will serve a two year term.
